1. Set Up AI Integration:

   After logging in, navigate to AI Settings from the main page and add your OpenRouter or OpenAI API key.

2. Create Your First Story:

   Return to the main page and click "Create Story". Fill in your story details to get started.

3. Click on the story card to go to the Story Page

   On the Story Page, you can add chapters, add lorebook data, and add custom prompts.

4. Add a Chapter

   Click on the "Add Chapter" button to add a new chapter to your story.

5. Write your chapter by clicking on the book icon on the chapter card

   Write your chapter content in the editor. Use scene beats to generate prose. You can also use the AI Write button to generate content. This works like continue writing, it will pick up where you left off with AI assistance.

Scene Beat Method

1. Press "/" in the editor to open the scene beat interface
2. Write your scene beat description
3. Choose your preferred prompt
4. Click "Generate Prose" to create content based on your scene beat

Direct Writing Method

1. Start writing your chapter content
2. Place your cursor where you want AI-generated content
3. Click the AI Write button to generate contextual prose
